Salsa Classes

At Salsa Libre Copenhagen we teach the right techniques in Salsa dancing such as combinations, musicality, leading and following, body movement, footwork and styling, to make you a good dancer on the dance floor. We use a world proven step by step teaching technique used by thousands of dancers around the world in an easy and fun environment.

Cuban Salsa Classes Copenhagen

Beginners – Level 1 - February

Learn Cuban Salsa from the beginning in a fun and easy way.

The class of Cuban Salsa for beginners level 1 is for you if you are completely new in Salsa, or if you know the basic steps and want a repetition of the base of Cuban Salsa.

No previous experience of Salsa required.

LESSONS START: Tuesday 10th of February 2026 at 19:30.

INSTRUCTOR: Joaquim Aoues.

DURATION: 6 intensive lessons of 1 hour each (6 Tuesdays).

PRICE: 600 DKK for the whole course (550 DKK for students).

Beginners - Level 2

Learn more figures and improve your Cuban Salsa.

The class of Cuban Salsa beginners 2 is the natural continuation of our class of Cuban salsa for beginners 1. You will be introduced to more figures and we will focus more on the right technique.

It is required to 6 weeks experience of dancing, approximately 6 hours of completed dance lessons of Cuban Salsa or knowledge of the following Cuban combinations: Cuban Salsa basic steps, vuelta, dile que no, guapea and enchufla.

LESSONS START: Thursday 8th of January 2026 at 17:30.

INSTRUCTOR: Jakob Garcia.

DURATION: 6 intensive lessons of 1 hours each (6 Thursdays).

PRICE: 600 DKK for the whole course – 550 DKK for students.
Couples discount: if you register as a couple, the price will be 1.100 DKK per couple for the entire course (a couple must consist of 1 leader and 1 follower).

Improvers Level 1

Improve your social dancing with more useful figures and improve your technique.

In the class of Cuban Salsa improvers level 1 you will learn more figures that are useful on the dance floor. We will focus more on the technique which is also essential to become a better social dancer.

It is required to have 12 weeks experience of dancing, approximately 12 hours of completed dance lessons of Cuban Salsa. You need to know the following Cuban combinations: Cuban Salsa basic steps, vuelta, dile que no, guapea and enchufla.

START: Sunday 4th of January 2026 at 16:00.

It is required to have approx. 4 months experience of dancing or 16 hours of completed dance lessons in Cuban Salsa.

LESSONS START: Sunday 4th of January 2026 at 14:30.

DURATION: 6 intensive lessons of 1 hour & 15 min each (6 Sundays).

It is required to have 6 months experience of dancing Cuban Salsa.

START: Sunday 16th of November 2025 at 16:00.

DURATION: 6 intensive lessons of 1 hour and 15 min each (6 Sundays).

Advanced Level

Do you want to challenge yourself? Learn more technique, footwork and styling in your Cuban Salsa.

Learn even more complex combinations in our advanced Cuban Salsa class.
We dance at a high pace, focus on refining your Salsa technique, and challenge you with advanced rueda de casino moves and dynamic transitions.

Dancers in this class usually have several years of experience.

Participation requires approval from the teacher, as the class is designed to maintain a high and consistent level among all dancers.

Dancers who have not previously attended this level are asked to contact the teacher at jakobgarsalsa@gmail.com prior to signing up.

This Salsa Lady Styling class is perfect for ladies who want to complement their Salsa training by adding more elegance, confidence, and expression to their dancing.
